Question about windshields 7 Months, 4 Weeks ago
My 944 is currently raced in POC. Our rules allow the replacement of the front windshield with Lexan. Is this allowed in NASA?
I want to be sure my car stays leagal for both.

Thanks,

C Buzzetti

Well after I posted I found the rules and looks like no Lexan for anything but doors.
Looks like the rest of my car fits within the rules. No chip, no header, 500 RWHP etc.....

Hope to see some of you at the track one of these days.

Yep,
NASA & PCA 944 spec requires glass in all locations except for the doors where the glass can be replaced with lexan or removed entirely. In an case cars must run windows down so the lexan only serves as light method to seal the car if the needed for storage.

That looks like Buttonwillow in the picture.
