Hi Bill,

We miss ya!
Just got back home a little while ago.
The event was a blast and I'm sure there will be lots of stories.
I'm too tired to write anything now.

Sunday's top five were:
1. Norman Hamden
2. David Dirks
3. Rick Lofgren
4. Joe Paluch
5. Jim Foxx

This group photo is is still missing some 944-SPEC cars. (Eric Kuhns, Ray Freundt, Todd Imwold, more Rocky Mtn cars)

Incredible event.
History making. I was so happy to be a part of it.
Super close racing in equally built 944 Spec cars.
Great to meet the faces behind the forum names.
944 Spec rules the nation!

Despite all the adversity, we had a really good time. LOTS of racing, and great people! Ray & I had great fun on & off the track.

Sorry about not making the group picture, was under Ray's car replacing an axle .

I was a blast, and showed 944 Spec camaraderie at it's best!

Thanks to the RM region, Chuck & Dave especially, for all the hard work in making this happen! Thanks to Tim & Joe for all the advice & help.

Re:Results....stories? 5 Months ago
It was one of my best race weekends too, you know how you usual race the same folks every race weekend at home, this was so different to race new people and I was amazed at how all of the AZ guys that I race at home were kicking my butt at times, I couldn't keep up with Joe, Jon or Jim several times during the weekend, but as it has been mentioned several times now, the fun, crazy people that we share this crazy hobby with was the iceing on the cake!!! I am sorry I had to spend so much time working on my car in stead of socializing, but that wasn't too bad either with everybody stopping by to talk or offer help.
WHAT AN HONOR IT IS TO BE YOUR FRIEND, THANK YOU!!!!!

I look forward to the write ups and hope to collect my thoughts from my personal hi lites and type them out after I reach Missouri, I am leaving this morning so I don't have much time now.(Approximately a 20 hour drive)

Many thanks to RM Region for a great job, you just keep making it better!!!!

PS: I highly recommend pulling a trailer behind your race car, it's faster, cheaper and the looks you get from people in traffic is fun too.

Keep the write ups coming,

Cheers
