Page 1 of 4 It was a weekend of great racing at Infineon raceway. The weather was unusally hot in the high 80's for this time of year but not as hot as the wheel to wheel racing fun. 
We had Tom Spargo coming up from SoCal to race with us. Tom came up to race at Infineon in April of 2006 and our NorCal 944-SPEC group was not quite ready till August 2006. In the back of my mind I always felt bad that we weren't ready when Tom came up and I'm glad we had a field of cars for him to play with now. 
We had a couple of mini first for the event. It was the first time we had a 944-SPEC car in NorCal outfitted with Toyo R888 tires. Tom drove up from SoCal in his race car  and I reserved a set of R888's for him with AIM tires to have them mounted at the track, more on the R888's later. It was the first time this year our 25 Hours of Thunderhill car been out since the 25 Hours race last December.  Steve piloting Thunderbolt Rick has a fresh built AutoPoint engine installed in his car and it's my first race weekend back at Infineon since I crashed into a tire wall last year.
