Thunderhill backwards is a strange beast.  With all the mishaps: my car, Greg's radiator, Rick's oil pan, we really came together as a team to help each other out.   I'm so proud to be associated with this great group of people. 

The help just didn't extend to our class.   Ron's wife Kim helped out at the NASA Saturday night BBQ.  A tie rod from some kind of 996 race car came undone from the steering rack side and fell out, then the left front wheel wasn't connected to the steering rack anymore.  Rick was somehow roped into this and was able to repair it to the delight of the owner.   Well, word spread that there was some "Porsche mechanics" around by the 944-SPEC camp and another guy came up looking for help with his 964 engine which was turning over but not starting.  Rick politely told him mechanical stuff he can figure out but that is something he should take to a real mechanic or dealer.

Congratulations to Ron for completing his four races and getting his provisional license signed off.

Rick's two first place win for the weekend puts him 5 points ahead of Greg  for the season championship points.  Sid is still the current points leader without the drops. Sid and Steve will be lightening up their cars some more and not conceding the season to anyone.

June will be a very busy month.  Our next race will be at Thunderhill in the "normal" direction on June 7-8 follow by the BIG National 944-SPEC shoot-out at Millers Motorsports Park in Utah on June 13-15 and then the start of NorCal's CASH race series at Infineon June 28-29.

We'll also have another NorCal 944-SPEC car and driver ready to join us in June.

 It's going to be fun and interesting  as we head towards the rest of the season.
