Greg and his Dinoco #43 chalked up another win at Thunderhill over the weekend of August 11-12 2007.

We been real fortunate with the weather for our races this year.  Thunderhill in August can be unbearably hot but it was in the high 80's, low 90's for the race weekend with a refreshing breeze.

#106

This weekend saw the return of Steve's black 924S  #106 in action and the car seems to be running well.

I was piloting the red #95 car which just got it's engine rebuilt in prepartion for the 25 Hours of Thunderhill in December.  Not sure of the procedure for breaking in a engine on a race car but I tried not to rev. the engine pass 6K by short shifting it.  The engine was very smooth.  Checked the oil level after every session and did not have to add a single drop of oil for the entire weekend!

I did had problems with the car on Sunday's race which I believe is electrical.  Bummed out that I wasn't able to complete the race but rather have the problems show up now and fix/sort out before the 25 Hours.

#95

Greg's 1st place wins over the weekend puts him on track to be the 2007 NorCal 944-Spec champion.

#43

Here's a broader picture view.  Group A where 944-Spec runs in NorCal usually has 50+ cars (HC, SM, PT, 944-Spec, etc.) during any given race so there are traffic management issues/strategies.
