Page 1 of 8 A wacky event that is part endurance racing, part demolition derby and all fun! As a prerequisite for entering the LeMons, the total amount spent for the car, parts and accessories must not exceed $500. This does not include safety equipment such as the roll cage, race seat, harness, fire suppression system, brakes or tires.
Back story:I wasn't familiar with the LeMons race and became interested in it after seeing a coworker's LeMons car at our company's annual Motorama car show. It was a beat-up Ford Pinto which seemed out of place next to the nicer classic or contemporary cars at the show.
We had one of our 944-Spec cars at the Motorama, the #43 Dinoco car.

Our regular 944-Spec race season was coming to end and I was looking for race events between this and next year’s seasons. A group of us were already planning for the 25 hours of Thunderhill in December. I thought this might be a great race to get some experience in an Enduro because all of our races have been sprints. My coworker who raced in the LeMons before said it was a lot of fun and highly recommended it.
