Page 4 of 9 Race Day: The 25 Hours race begins at 11:00AM Saturday and ends at noon Sunday. It is one of the longest endurance race in the world with a diverse field of cars ranging from the Crawford Daytona Prototype and Norma M20F's in the ESR class on one end and the E2 class on the other end with our modest 944-Spec car. Prior to getting ready to pre-grid we were having problems with our radio system. We debugged it to the PTT button. Bummer since this was a brand new system. I ran to the Sampson communications trailer and was able to purchase a new PTT button. We got our car to pre-grid on time.
Parade lap through the hot pits.
