The next day:

Sunday morning came and Thunderbolt was still running strong.  Despite the freezing cold and lack of sleep our entire team was in good spirits as the  25 Hours draws to a close.  A  lot of newer cars with better funded teams were sitting in the paddock while our 24 year old 944-Spec car was out running and scoring laps.  Our fuel situation required one last pit stop on the 24th hour before the end of the race.  We checked the oil and it still did not require any but we added a few drops just because it felt weird to not use any oil at all for the entire race.  Todd took the last session with about an hour to go before the checkered flag.

We were all proud as Thunderbolt cross the finish line with a headlight salute and completed the 25 Hours without a scratch or mechanical problems.
