Part 2

Re: 944 Paddock at Nats? 9 years, 6 months ago #18345

I was wide everywhere in that video - don't follow those lines

Testing isn't quite that bad:

1 session = $95 2 sessions = $180

3 session = $255 4 sessions = $325

I'm planning to do the two afternoon sessions for $180. I'll be up there by lunchtime or so on Thursday.

Not quite sure when I am going to get there yet. It may be Wednesday night or Thursday morning. Need to dial in my new sway bar.

Is anyone willing to provide help with a starting baseline, to avoid wasting to much time. My first idea was

Tarrret front - 1" in
Weltmeister rear - 0" (on the end)

I am hoping this will give me something with a little understeer that I can then dial out. Thoughts?

Cant wait to experience my first championships.

I would start with the mid setting front and rear.

I have a cheat sheet for setup that I always bring to the track. I am happy to help out.

You will want to dial the car in for T6 and T10.

Dont know much about the Tarrett bar but I would bring your original bar just in case you have to switch back.

Thanks Charlie,

I have the original packed ready to go. The issue I have been suffering with was the rear end giving up on my mid corner, I almost spun and hit the wall in T10 last month because of it. That was with a M030 front and the Welt rear @ 0". So my logic was to upgrade to a stiffer bar and move it in from the end, hoping to get understeer I can then soften the front and voila. Well thats was the theory. :-/
