Karl @ ART OFFLINE Junior Racer Posts: 55	I have not gone into the 944 tank yet, but if it's anything like the Miata's, the rubber band helps secure the pump to the line. Under load your pump may moving around enough to break the seal to the line squirting fuel back into the tank instead of the fuel line.
