TOPIC: Interior dash question

Re: Interior dash question 11 years, 9 months ago #13415

I will - it is taking more resin than I thought. I now see why the speed shops charge what do for them...

The mold looks like it will be the expensive part. If I can make two or three of them, it will lower the average cost.

Thanks,

Have you completed your tooling yet? I am still interested in a dash.

made my own, just sprayed the stock dash with PAM spray and resin coated some cloth over top of it. Then pealed off the cast and put a few more coats of resin and cloth inside to strengthen. i spent alittle time making the outside smooth and spraying it with bedliner spray from a rattle can but it weighs 5lbs and everyone thinks its the stock dash.
