There are different weights of glass windshields. Some aftermarket ones are thinner and lighter than stock, hence slightly different weight numbers.

I paid $25 each plus shipping of about $30 for one and less for each after the first one. One caution though, of the 6 I ordered, one had a cracked place from something hitting it and one was badly scratched on the inside. I am in discussion with the seller to get an adjustment. You may want to make sure that you will get windshields that are in good shape as part of your order.

Care and feeding to prevent scratches for one. Second I still thing stock is good. Also I would rather not see even the minimal weight savings so few guys bitch & moan.

So if I were all about me I would still say no. However is is not all about me, but what is best for the class overall. I was very happy to see that you could still race Sunday and anything that keeps cars on track is a big plus.

has anyone done a detailed writeup on the size modfication process and proper mounting process, reiforcement etc?
