Wow, after that video I'm sold! My next windshield will be lexan.

Where did you get your lexan from? 3/16" or 1/4" ?

Personally I still don't like Lexan, but I have to admit allowing it saved one racer a new windshiled and allowed him to make the feature race.


So saved money and less track down time.
So far seems like a good idea.

I bought four of them from the source that Sterling Doc found at www.racingmetal.com They all came in good shape, most with multiple tear offs, although most of the tear offs were bubbled.

Just our of curiosity Joe, what's not to like about Lexan?

Another option from the cup car crowd is tearoffs over your factory windsheild:

From what I've been told a tearoff can easily last a season, so two seasons and then you're back to the glass. Won't save you from the hood and doesn't save any weight, but if you have good glass it will get you a longer life...
