Just wanted to chime in here regarding tires for the AZ region of 944 Spec.

Toyo Tires is the official tire of the class, so to be legal for 944Soec competition you must compete on either Toyo RRs, or Toyo RA1s.

If you guys are interested in running another brand of tire, you are welcome to run in PT or GTS classes, but you will not be eligible to run in the 944 Spec championship.

I understand the desire to find cheaper ways to go racing, but I also believe the RR is a phenomenal tire. We're averaging 16 heat cycles with no drop off with life still on them before we even consider swapping. Additionally, these tires seem not to have a sweet spot, and are fast from new.

Also dont forget if you plan on running Nationals this year, we will of course be running on Toyos.
