TOPIC: Former 944 Cup driver defecting to Spec in NorCal

Re:Former 944 Cup driver defecting to Spec in NorCal 14 years, 3 months ago #6582

Ron,

I must have missed that part of the rules. Is filet mignon required or will strips suffice?

Funny enough, the 944 Cup crowd was well known for the best food in the paddock thanks to our chef, Big Joe, who brought quite a spread every weekend. We funded it through a couple of extra bucks each in the entrance fees but Joe did all of the work.

I've probably got the extra trailer room for a grill....

Hi Steve,

Glad you were able to login to the forum.
Per our email conversations Art at AutoPoint is good guy and you might want to check with him soon if you want to make the Feb. race.
You got your answer from Joe P. regarding the A-arms and bushings.
Good luck and looking forward to meeting you.

Ken,

Thanks for getting me started in the right direction. I'm going to see Art on Saturday with the car and I'm working on a trade for some Spec suspension parts in exchange for my Cup parts. February is looking realistic!
