Hi Guys,

The 2010 Porsches at the Point, 944-Spec AutoPoint Challenge will be held at Infineon raceway October 9th-10th.
This is NorCal 944-Spec's big race and all regions are welcome!
I believe we'll have close to $3,000 in combined CASH, contingencies and prizes.

I'm about 60% certain I'll be there now that I'm back to being employed. Still need to slide some funds around.

Where the heck is the registration for the event? There isn't a link on the nasanorcal site.

Jerry,

Did the friction material break off from the center hub? I assume this is a spring-centered clutch? I've seen several fail at the sheet metal tabs that go from the spring center to the friction ring.

The most direct way to correct this failure mode is to use the turbo clutch disk and keep everything else. It is much stronger and fits all the stock stuff. The clutch disk is free per the rules but you have to keep the stock pressure plate etc.
