since we can't carry a balance on toyo bucks anymore, maybe we should coordinate to maximize our usage. i have $250 in hand and $250 coming, i need 3 tires(already have one) which should come to around $471. anyone need an extra $29 in toyo bucks?

I could probably make use of that. I'd been planning on just buying one or two tires at a time as my Toyo bucks get set to expire.

I'm open to whatever works for everyone.

On this subject, does anyone know how the regional championship contigency is based? We have the required 5 starters in 8 races covered so 1st gets $1K TB, 2nd $500, 3rd $250.

My question is how they base the order. The form says it is based on NASA results only so are drops included or no? If not, Jerry has a big lead for 1st

It says "5 or more starters in at least 8 or more races". 4 of the races that got Jerry points only had 3 people. So he'd be down 355 points from that. Sid and Steve would each be down 200 from what's shown there. So it looks like it would actually be Rick in the lead, followed by Sid and Jerry and Steve tied for 3rd.

The NASA results does not show drops of any kind.
The championship contingencies are base on our regional drops.

Ken, it is this sentence that got my attention: "Awards will strictly be based on official race results supplied by NASA. Awards cannot be claimed
until NASA has released official season race results."

Since NASA doesn't do drops, I wasn't sure if Toyo would take into account our series using drops.
