TOPIC: Turn-key 944 Spec racer FS in the Midwest

Turn-key 944 Spec racer FS in the Midwest 13 years, 10 months ago #9264

This car was built 3 years ago, and raced only for a partial season, and then a couple of DE's after that. Low hours on a clean, low mileage donor car. I picked it up as a hedge on my new car not getting finished, but as things are coming along nicely with the new build (and the bills are coming in), I'm putting it up FS.

-Clean Chassis, and fresh orange paint. (Not faded red!)
-Low hours since motor rebuild (est. <10). Runs very well
-Incredible, bomb-proof Izzy's Custom Cage (see pics)
-Full Koni/Spec suspension.
-Stock Antisway bars, but I will include a 944 Turbo front bar, and a Weltmeister adjustable rear bar with the purchase.
- Right side net.
-Harnesses in great shape, but outdated- will need replacement, or rewebbing if used in W2W racing.
-Tall 5th, open diff trans
-85.5 Chassis (early offset suspension, late 21 gallon tank & electrics - best combo, IMO)

$7,500 OBO

Nor is it developed to the level of Charlie or Austin's cars, but it is a good value.

That's Jeff's car, right? I wondered what happened to that car. Glad to see it getting into circulation. As I remember, it was a very clean build. It wouldn't take much to make that a front running car.

Good luck with the sale!

Is this car still available? I have a friend that is considering picking up a spec car to come play with us.
