I've been using Picasa 3 but it now has a bug that I can't overcome - won't export cropped videos thus I cannot cut down video size anymore. So I'm looking for a good video editor that I can crop video down; combine videos together (i.e. crop out middle portions); and add text to the video. I'm running Windows XP on my current yet older laptop but have access to a Windows 7 computer (newer laptop)

I'd be interested too - also if someone has suggestions for a reasonable Linux based editor.

I have heard good things about Traqview, and RaceRender.
I use iMovie on the Mac mostly, sometimes Indows Movie Maker if I'm using the PC.

Eric mentioned it, but I'll mention it again: RaceRender.

This is a application built specifically for track videos. It is very cheap, works well, and best of all is written by a fellow 944 Spec racer. If you use Windows be sure to at least check it out!

I checked out racerender2 and it looks great. My laptop I use for this is old so worried about performance. I think this will be the one I get but need to figure out the hardware side now.
