I have new rotors all around, and only ran one weekend with the new pads so no real wear on them yet.

Hi Guys,

I just worked out an agreement and Andrew Racing now has FRONT DTC-60 compound pads.
you can find them if you CLICK HERE HB199G.702

DTC-60 is an awesome compound. It has a slightly lower friction level than DTC-70. It is very gentle on the rotors and has excellent modulation characteristics. It is my favorite HAWK compound. I think it even lasts a little longer than DTC-70.

HT-10 compund on the rear (HB198S.685) will be a perfect match to the DTC-60 front for those who experience some rear lock up with equal compound F/R pads. HT-10 has about 15% less friction than DTC-60.

You can see my HAWK compound comparison sheet CLICK HERE

List price on the DTC-60 front is $180 HT-10 rear is $162.50.
These two combined with the 944SPEC25 special are $256.88

This is an online order only special. Two sets minimum. Free shipping with 4 sets.

Have a great Holiday!

This is great news Jay. It's nice to have an option for a more modern brake pad that's more appropriate for the weight of our cars. In looking at the friction charts, it seems a DTC-60 front and the Blue rear would have a bit more split friction than the DTC-60/HT-10 combo, and might be useful in cars/drivers with more rear lock up issues. Any issues with that set up?

I'll be first in line try try the DTC-60's - thanks for making this possible!

Eric,
That could be a good combination too.
I think one or the other is going to be close.
Finding that optimum balanced bias is what wins races.
Different drivers have different preferences.
I do think the split between 60 front HT-10 rear is greater than 70 front 60 rear split friction though.
I am sure that using the DTC-60 in the front gives you better options.

Thanks Jay - much appreciate the time & thoughts.

Any comments on the release characteristics/modulation of the Blues vs. HT-10's?
