Hey Guys,

Any have data on using the new rules low compression w shaved head woodruff key 2 degrees.
I am want to know about how it will affect HP on dyno.
I saw the keys with 928 motorsports for 25 bucks.

Thanks

Jim, did you find this information yet? I'm building an '88 924S (the red 924 Turbo at Chuckwalla is leaving, soon!), and have a shaved turbo head on my engine rebuild. Thanks, Dave

I went with a thicker 944 turbo head gasket, and the timing marks are spot on.

The limited that moves the curve a bit in the RPM range, but has a only a small effect on HP. We looked into doing formal testing with an adjustable cam gear, but it turned out to be cost prohibitive. If you try it, and can do before and after dynos, share what you find. Most rules would not be approved with little data, but as moves thins things back towards OEM, the risk was thought to be minimal.
