I did a search but couldn't find an answer to my question.

What should the compression numbers be for a 944 motor?

Most of that has to do with how much the head was shaved.
Other factors include state of battery charge, spark plugs in or out, throttle opened or closed, engine hot or cold.
My recollection is that it should be about 150. Ideally they will have less than a 5% variation from high to low.
