Funny thing was, the "Cup" car in the original article was built much like a Spec car.
Thanks Tim, for actually having the initiative to write the letter we all though about.

This time, the picture they put in had my car in Spec trim (unlike the calender). Good PR!

Did you guys also see the nice "meet a member" article that featured Az 944 Spec Driver Austin Newmak - he said some good things as well, and referenced how big Nationals will be for Spec!

Crap I am on vaction and did not get my latest GRM!!! It is probably in the mail right now!!!!

BTW.. the "944 Cup" car was really a 944 spec car. It was built that way and developed that way. It turned cup and just barely maybe a year before that article. It has 2-3 races in "cup" trim. If that.

hmmm...not one 944 in the whole issue this month.
I'm sure there's no connection though, lol.
