We did want to send out a special Thanks to Tommy Byrne of the Mid Ohio School , Who showed Tyler around the track on Tuesday. Making it feel like his home track in one day.

Great write up Eric, you covered it so well I felt like I was there, I had to get the dictionary out for a couple of the words, but I need to expand my vocabulary anyway.

Kudos to you Eric on your exemplary leadership that resulted in a fun clean race weekend, and for your 2nd hard earned finish.

Of course to Tyler, the new 2011 944 spec champion who really showed that it takes a team effort to win, from his dad spending hours on the phone getting thoughts and idea then many more hours on the car to make it perfect, to Tyler spending countless hours on his computer racing Mid OH and getting his focus where it needed to be and then spending time with a class A instructor to learn the track. Great prepared car with a great prepared driver = winning!

Thanks to all racers that made the trek and put on a fun race for us to watch, there are lots of other spec series to race in, but weekends like this make 944spec look very attractive, no crashes, no DQ's, no problems!!!

LOL. Unfortunately, this involved a little domestic abuse among the golf carts. Nothing a few well placed race decals couldn't cover.
