How about we set-up a inter region bragging rights competition. Take say the top 5 finishers from each region for each of the 3 races and crown a "Fastest 944 Spec Region" Title. The winning region gets bragging rights till next National.

It would work very simple. Just score our the 3 races for points using the best 5 scores from each region. These can be the same or different drivers.

So what do you think!

Your "home region" is where you have run the majority of your races for 2009. If there is a tie between regions then we go back to 2008 races.


So Norm is Az and Jim your are So Cal.

So Cal Tracks are
Cal Speedway, Willow Springs, Buttonwillow.

Nor Cal Tracks are
Thunderhill, Infineon, Laguna Seca

Utah guys default to Rocky Mountain unless they ran a majority of races elsewhere.

So what does AZ get for second place ?

RMR = 13 entrants = take best 5
Az = 9 entrants = take best 5
So-cal = 5 entrants = Take all
Nor-cal = 2 entrants


So look slike Az & RMR have the edge.
