14.1 Clutch
Any clutch disc may be used. The pressure plate and flywheel must be OEM or exact equivalent of no less weight for particular model of car.

Are other PPs exact equivalent?

My interpretation is that I can rebuild the stock Sachs pressure plate as doing so would not change the weight, dimensions, or performance. The only thing that failed on mine were the spring straps around the perimeter of the PP. I have found a truck clutch re-builder that can surface the friction surface and replace the spring straps with stronger material that should not fail like the last ones.

I simply dont trust the stock Sachs after this failure...

Here are the pics of the carnage....I think the bellhousing is still usable, the flywheel will need new trigger points obviously, the pressure plate may be gone I will find out today, the disk is the typical rubber center fail. I am not real happy about replacing the PP with another Sachs unit.
