I'm getting ready to install an after market oil cooler on my 84 944. I have read somewhere that he positioned the cooler in front of the wheel well under the coil and funneled air from the fog lamp recess. I also noted that CJ placed his in front of his radiator on the right side. The cooler is fairly large and will only fit in front of the wheel well with some major fabrication of ductwork and some protection from the wheel.
Any comments?

I have mine in front of the radiator . I like Joe's setup better, behind the fog light.

Any pics? Can I legally cut the back out of the foglight recess?
