Hi, John. Looks like you're starting with a nice car. Have fun with the build!

Sorry for dropping the "H" from your name. Thought you were a Jon.

I'll buy the next round when I'm out that way

Coming right along. Bought a Miller 211 for the build for my welder and she's testing it out.

Update! We have finished fabricating John's cage inside our 944 cage mock-up car. Like all of our 944/924s mail-order cages, it is pre-notched, test-fitted, and ready-to-weld. We have customized our standard design with several optional bars that John ordered: Extended-Style door bars, rear area X-bars, specially-fitted windshield bar, roof bar, dash bar, sheetmetal gussets to connect to the A and B pillars, and tube gussets to strengthen the forward hoop/windshield bar joints. We will crate the cage and ship it to John over the next couple of days.

More pictures and info on our Facebook page. I'll upload it to www.944cage.com over the weekend.

Thanks for looking, and thank you for all of your support. Thanks to 944-spec racers, Hanksville Hot Rods has built over 50 944/924s/951/968 roll bars and cages!

Hank's cage arrived. More on that later as it appears the existing press on those only scratches the surface. Suffice to say I've seen glassware not packed as nicely.

On our end we decided against the original plan to have the shell baked and dipped in favor our elbow grease (and use the savings for other 'stuff'. So I got one of those tools that once you've used it, "How did I ever get along without?"

That's it! I'm cleaning the shop before we take any more pictures!
