That is the final edition.

After some discussions with NASA office regarding the head thickness rule, and concerns that were raised here, the installed dimension was adjusted slightly to allow for more headgasket squish, and measurement variance. The uninstalled dimension is not affected by headgasket issues, and is easier to measure more precisely, and was not changed.

Everything else is the same as was settled here earlier - very little change this year in the end...

Thank you for minmizing the rules changes and catching the head gasket squish issue.
I measured this to be at .007 on my car. That could have created a few DQ's that would not have been deserved.

Now repeate after me "NO MORE NEW RULES"

Thanks for all the feedback from everyone, it was heard. I know everyone is not happy, but we did our best to balance things on a nationwide basis, and hope everyone will bear with us.

Now, everyone play nice this year, so we can leave things alone in the future. Lets all respect the spirit of the rules, including the "this is not intended to be an engine builders class"

That said, I'm all for rewarding the effort put into a fussy build, good setup, and driver improvement.
