I would like to extend a big welcome aboard to the southeasts newest lisenced drivers. Brian Evans and Jason Werner. Both drivers have completed comp school this weekend at CMP and are legal to race. Thanks for sticking with it guys and let the games begin.

Now, make plans to get to Nationals. You do NOT want to miss 30+ cars starting two abreast in 15+ rows, six or eight wide going into the wide, wide turn one at Miller. It is an experience you will never forget.

AND, you get to do that THREE times during the event.

Jason (s2k4j) is in the white 944 beside me, Mike is in the red 944 lurking behind us. He must have called in quite a few favors for them to let him out with us- he was practically salivating the whole weekend in anticipation of running in the mock race so he could have "fun" with us ...

Fortunately, Mike couldn't keep up with me and tortured Jason after the restart split us up. I was swarmed by thunder roadsters and, after a few laps of the ugliest driving since DE-1, found a little breathing room and started turning some decent laps.

It was over way too quickly, though- fortunately Road Atlanta is just 3 weeks away!
