Hey guys, I haven't done much with my (hopefully) future spec car over the winter. However I did some poking around with a flashlight and maybe my rust issue isn't as bad as I think. I would like someone with cage-knowledge to take a peek though and give me the yay or nay before I do anything else with it. Otherwise I will soon order a Hanksville cage and go from there.

Is there a day coming up soon where the group will be at the shack? Or is there a shop near Cumming I should drop by?

I want to be doing more than track days before the year is over....

You might want to contact joefastguy. He has a Hanksville cage with all options (not installed) plus a solid 1984 car with 2 motors for sale for less than the cage cost. See the classifieds. The car is located in Statesville, NC. I went and saw it last Sat, looks like a great deal (he will negotiate the price a bit too).

We have guys local to Cumming that can help out or let you know the next time they are at the shack. I believe most week ends there is at least somebody working on a 944 at the shack so you should be able to catch up to one of them soon.
