TOPIC: SER 944-SPEC, Race #2

SER 944-SPEC, Race #2 15 years, 9 months ago #3879

Road Atlanta, 3/14-15 2009.
What a weekend, rain, rain and some more rain.
This was my second visit to RA and my first ever racing in the rain. WHAT AN EXPERIENCE! Had a blast, more so on Sunday than Saturday but a fun weekend overall. With wins on both days, it seems as if this season is gonna be an MCM Motorsports year.

Chris, the 944-SPEC class in the Southeast is brand new for '09. We have had as many as 3 cars so far this year with 2 more on the way before the end of the season. I am hoping for one or two more to make 7 in a first year class here.

Thanks for the response. From everything I've read it seems like a great car -- I hope it catches on in the SE as it seems it has out west/mid-west.

I live in Orlando, FL and I've been racing karts most of my life. I'm very interested in club racing a 944 in both NASA-SE and PCA events around FL.

Question: What is the difference between the NASA 944spec, 944 cup, and 944 super cup?

Thanks,
Chris Bany
