What shops, especially machine shops, are folks using (or would recommend) in the Texas area for work on their 944 Spec?

Who has had their cranks cross drilled and who did the work?
Getting ready to get the two heads surfaced and would like to get #2 and #3 cross drilled on the two cranks I have.

I sub my head work out to Automotive Machine and Supply in Ft. Worth. That's a ways from Rockwall, but I usually make a run over there once a week. I'd be happy to drop your heads off if you'd prefer to drop the heads off at my shop in Dallas.

I can also get your crank taken care of. Oh and don't forget to tap those heads for a steam vent.

Anything you need, my shop Clown Shoe Motorsports, would be happy to help. Our normal rates are $85/hr, but we are doing work for Spec Racers at $50/hr We've worked on almost every 944 Spec car in Texas, and I have been running a 944 Spec car since 2008. We know these cars well!

I can vouch for BJ - he's a great asset to have in Texas!

Ditto, he's had his hands in or is currently working on 2/3 of the Texas 944 cars!

Hurry up and get the car running Curt!

What do you normally charge for cross drilling a crank?
