First, does any know VIR, and the paddock here?
I've never been there, so will need some input on this, or I can just do my best with the National office.

Pizza party, night out?

I was actually there last week end. It is in the stix and not really conveniently close to anything. There is a go kart track on the grounds along with a nice restaurant/bar that's been setup in the original plantation house.

The parking is expected to be a massive cluster judging by initial thoughts from the Mid-A guys. Supposedly they are going to put pre-grid on the remaining unpaved portion on the hill overlooking the north paddock (not in the dedicated covered pre-grid that apparently doesn't get used). The garages are available for a sizable fee and further parking details have yet to be released. They have done a good job painting pit spaces on the paved portion of the North Paddock so I imagine there will be a paid space section and free for all section like last year.

Also, if we book early, there is a old time pizza / sandwich shop within minutes of the track with parking. It is called Aunt Millie's pizza and suds. I am sure someone will try to book this place soon. web site auntmilliespizza.com Phone number336-234-0240. This place is perfect for us but it is the only thing around off the track. The places on VIR property are big money.
